David Kraai headlines week of live music
Music. A full week of live music at area venues wraps up Thursday with multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter David Kraai taking the stage at Krogh’s Restaurant & Brew Pub.
Friday, Jan. 16
Starting at 6 p.m., Rene Avila brings his acoustic favorites to the dinner crowd at the Lafayette House, 75 Route 15. McQ’s Pub at Lake Lenape, 165 Andover Sparta Rd., welcomes back Geoff Doubleday and his guitar skills for a set starting at 7 p.m.
Also at 7 p.m., PS Xperiment rocks out at Skylands Craft Beer & Wine Garden, 447 Route 294, while Uncle Stump brings their blend of funk, psychedelia, and rock ’n’ roll to Milk Street Distillery, 1 Milk St.
At Krogh’s Restaurant & Brew Pub, 23 White Deer Plaza, Jason Kundrath, member of Sparta’s The Good Silver and Hero Pattern, heads to the pub for a solo set of his favorite rock and Americana tunes beginning at 8 p.m. Meanwhile, at the Sparta Pour House, 43 Center St., Joe Amendola takes center stage with timeless classics, modern hits, and sing-along favorites at the same time.
Saturday, Jan. 17
Milk Street Distillery welcomes back the area’s favorite energetic rock duo, The Harrisons, at 7 p.m. At the same time, John Murphy performs acoustic selections at McQ’s Pub, while One Size Fits All brings their rock energy to Skylands Craft Beer & Wine Garden.
At 8 p.m., break out your band tees and eyeliner at O’Reilly’s Pub, 271 Spring St., for Punk Rock Tea Party. Enjoy themed cocktails, special teas, and a DJ spinning tunes from 8–10 p.m., followed by live punk sets from 10–11:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 21
Danny C’s Concert Series continues at Blue Arrow Farm, 86 Glenwood Rd., with ½ Way to Tyler’s Birthday Celebration and a performance by One Size Fits All, starting at 4 p.m.
At 6:30 p.m., Ray Sikora returns to the Homestead Restaurant, 294 N. Church Rd., for another karaoke night.
Thursday, Jan. 22
Back at Blue Arrow Farm, Felix and the Cats bring their throwback tunes starting at 6 p.m. At 6:30 p.m. at Krogh’s, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and bandleader David Kraai takes the stage with his blend of country-folk and rock stylings.
