SPARTA-The fourth-grade students at Hilltop Country Day School recently decided to help to save the rainforests, which are being destroyed very quickly. Rainforests provide a home for over half of all the species of plants and animals on the planet. The students held a rainforest shirt sale in conjunction with the Earth Foundation and The Nature Conservancy, transforming the corridor outside their classroom into a rainforest. Through the efforts of the entire school, they raised enough money to save 32.5 acres of rainforest.
