Fellowship is served at July 26 Beemerville Harvest Home Dinner

beemerville The Beemerville Presbyterian Church’s Harvest Home Dinner will continue a tradition which is over 100 years old on Tuesday, July 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Beemerville Fire House on Route 519 in Beemerville. Generations of parishioners have prepared, cooked and served at this customary community gathering to support the church. Ham, scalloped potatoes, secret recipe coleslaw, and locally grown sweet corn will offered. Served family style, this community supported dinner has provided a special time for friends and neighbors to give thanks for the harvest since 1900. A traditional “fancy table” will hold baked goods and parishioners’ home made crafts. This year, $5 raffle tickets will be sold for a $1,000 gift card to Shop Rite. The drawing will be held at the September Spaghetti Dinner, also to benefit the Beemerville Church. Tickets are $12 per adult, and $6 for children. For ticket information, call Charles Sargent at 973-875-4822 or Cheryl Sargent at 973-875-9124; or the church at 973-875-6067.
