For the love of butterflies

Sparta - The children who attend Sparta L’il Keepers have been busy learning about butterflies. They have kept a butterfly house in their classrooms for the past few weeks and watched as the caterpillars formed chrysalises and then hatched into butterflies. The kids learned about the lifecycle of a butterfly and how they start off as eggs, turn to caterpillars, then into a chrysalis, and finally hatch into a butterfly. The toddlers and preschoolers also observed the butterflies for a few days before setting them free outside. They created a ”Metamorphosis me” craft where they used their pictures to become a chrysalis and then turned into a butterfly.
