Free stamping demo

HAMBURG — A demonstration on using rubber stamps to make holiday cards, wrapping and gifts will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. inside the Calico Rose Café, located at the Merry-Go-Round, on Route 23 South. The program is free and provided by Debbie Van Gieson, an independent contractor for Stampin’ Up! “Preparing for the holidays doesn’t have to break the budget," says Van Gieson, who has been teaching decorative rubber stamping, scrapbooking and home décor for over 15 years from her home-based Stamp Studio located in Hardyston. The demonstration will feature handcrafted projects using decorative stamps, designer papers, tools, punches, dies and accessories. Leslie Lutz, owner of the Merry-Go-Round, suggests that crafters and would-be crafters put the date on their calendars and invite a friend or two. The Calico Rose Café is located at the Merry-Go-Round, 19 Route 23 South, Hamburg.
