Garage and barn sale at Lusscroft Farm

    WANTAGEnFrom 8:30 a.m.n3:30 p.m. on Oct, 8, a garage and barn sale will be held at Lusscroft Farm on Neilson Road in Wantage Township. Items old and new such as housewares, small appliances, tools, jewelry, records, toys, books, and sports equipment will be available. Additionally, there will be horse tack and refreshments for sale. Proceeds will benefit Lusscroft Farm. Many years ago, Lusscroft was a model dairy farm that was later donated to the State of New Jersey. For many years, Rutgers utilized it as a dairy research facility. More recently, this property was operated as the 4-H Youth Center. In 2002, the State transferred the administration of the site to the N.J.D.E.P. and the State Agriculture Development Committee. Today, Lusscroft contains 23 buildings, fields, pastures, ponds and forest land.
