Hospital offers CPR renewal course

NEWTON-Newton Memorial hospital offers a one-day renewal CPR course for healthcare providers who already have CPR certification. The Healthcare Provider CPR Renewal course includes adult one- and two-rescuer CPR, pediatric CPR, rescue breathing, barrier devices, bag mask ventilation, and automated external defibrillators An evening session will be held from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10. at Newton Memorial Hospital, 175 High St., Newton. A Saturday session is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m on May 7 at the Sparta Health and Wellness, 89 Sparta Ave. The course fee is $50, and pre-registration is required.
