Interfaith network's upcoming dinner auction highlights 10 years of Service
Andover - The Sussex County Interfaith Hospitality Network will hold their benefit Dinner Auction on Saturday, March 29 at Perona Farms. This evening will feature 100 silent and live auction items in all price ranges to include vacation getaways, sports memorabilia, artwork, jewelry, spa packages and much more. Ticket price of $50 includes dinner. This is an annual event, but this year will be special as it marks 10 years of service to homeless families. IHN will honor those who have significantly helped to make the organization what it is today: Reverend Drew Byers; John DeHuff; The First Presbyterian Church of Sparta; Mark & Stephanie Hontz; Mark, Kathy, Katie & Molly Hoyer; Ada & Helar & kids; Don & Beth Larson; Lisa Luciano; Pam Milone; and Frankie Smith. Because of the efforts of those named above - representing founders, coordinators, volunteers, former board members, clergy, congregations and guest family - along with hundreds more volunteers, IHN has been able to provide shelter and support services to more than 1,000 homeless individuals between 1998 and 2008. IHN is currently seeking businesses, individuals and groups to help sponsor this event. For information on sponsorship, tickets or IHN, call 973-579-1180.
