WANTAGE-Multi-published local romance author Joan M. Fox will autograph several of her current historical romances from 1-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Annie’s Bookstop in Wantage Plaza. Fox has been writing fictional romances since 1996, when her first novel, “The Reluctant Duke,” was published. Since then, eight more of her books have been contracted or released in electronic formats or paperback. During the past three years, she has written novels under the pseudonym, Blaise Kilgallen, as well. These shorter novels are “spicier” than her original works and are set in both contemporary and historical venues. They can be purchased only as electronic downloads on the Internet from liquidsilverbooks.com or fictionwise.com. At Annie’s Bookstop, Fox will bring several titles of her paperback novels with her to autograph. Her newest romance, released in September by Wings ePress, Inc., is titled, “A Sweeter Revenge.” The story is set in the early 1800’s during the Christmas Holidays. Marigold Calloway, eldest of four sisters in Regency England, has her heart broken by the man she plans to marry when he deserts her to seek his fortune in America. When Jordan Brisbane returns five years later, Marigold plans her “sweet revenge.” “Never Let Me Go,” is another of Fox’s Regency romps. The book showcases a voluptuous heroine, a brawny and rather uncommunicative hero, a pair of aging sweethearts, two mischievous female twins, and another interested suitor. Fox adds several four-footed characters to the mix which has this story twisting and turning until the happily ever after is reached. Annie’s Bookstop, owned of Diane Henderson, is located at 205 Rt. 23 in the Wantage Plaza strip mall across from the Church of the Good Shepherd. For more information, call 973-875-2225.
