SUSSEX-Sussex Subs & Deli recently re-opened after renovations with a revised menu that includes a sandwich called the "Heart Attack." Billed as "a breakfast sandwich with an attitude," the cholesterol-laden meal-on-a-roll includes grilled smoked ham, sausage patties, Taylor ham, scrambled eggs, and three slices of melted cheese. According to deli owner John Wallace, "We actually invented the sandwich to poke fun at a good friend and customer who we think has a tapeworm. His was on a full sub roll, and he couldn't finish it. We scaled it down to half size and put it on the menu." In the first hour the sub was on sale, the deli sold seven. Sussex Subs has also added a wireless internet hot spot for customers to use with their laptop computers. Sussex Subs & Deli is located at 13 Mill St., Rte. 23, Sussex.
