Lake Mohawk Golf Club hosts tournament for new members

LAKE MOHAWK-Local residents who had become new members at Lake Mohawk Golf Club played with members of the club's board of governors in a club tournament. It introduced the new members to thegolf course, rated one of the top 10 courses in the state. A luncheon followed, with prizes awarded to the following winners: 1. Peter Ventricelli, Joe Finnegan, 61; 2. Ed Susco, Jim Madonna, 62 (match of cards); 3. Peter Ventricelli, Richard LaBracio, 62; 4. Dave Johnson, Bob Steppling, 63; Long Drive—11th Hole: Bill Steinhardt, Jim Madonna. Closest-to-the-pin—14th Hole: Ed Susco, Jim Madonna. The club, with an 18 hole golf course and elegant dining facilities for lunch, dinner and private parties, is in its 76th year of operation.
