Oak Ridge — Summer reading programs for kids, teens and adults will be ongoing at the Jefferson Township Public Library from June 27 through Aug. 19. Kids of all ages are invited to register for One World, Many Stories and get ready to explore the world through stories, crafts and other activities. This year kids are encouraged to select their own reading goals. They’ll receive their reading log and a coupon for a free ice cream upon signing up. You Be the Critic is a program designed especially for Grades 6-12. Teens can sign up to be book reviewers and pick up a coupon for a free ice cream at the library. They’ll read three books of their choosing and write a review of each. A prize will be awarded after completion of three reviews. Adult readers are invited to join Novel Destinations, and participate as much, or as little, as time permits. They can register to receive a Passport Packet, containing a reading log, summer program brochure and an incentive prize. All participants must complete their program to be entered into end-of-summer prize drawings. For more information, pick up a flyer at the library, call 973-208-6244 or visit www.jeffersonlibrary.net. The library is located at 1031 Weldon Road, in Oak Ridge.
