Library gallery features photos by Frank Shuback
Warwick, N.Y. - The Albert Wisner Public Library Gallery will feature “Under the Influence,” altered photographic images created by mixed media artist Frank Shuback now through the rest of June. Shuback is a native of Pine Island and currently resides in New Hampton. He is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design. He has been in numerous solo and group exhibitions in New York City and the Hudson Valley. His work is represented in the public collections of the Schenectady Museum, The Robertson Museum in Binghamton, the National Academy of design in New York City and the key Bank in Albany. In 2006 he was awarded the Eliza Pritzker Studio and Gallery Award. “I believe in the interconnectedness of things,” Shuback said in a press release describing his approach to creating art. “While that synergy may be more easily encountered in nature, I think that man-made things and natural forms can also have a visual harmony.”
