Local artist assists MADD

    LAFAYETTE-Carol Decker, in conjunction with Olde Lafayette Village, will donate a percentage from each sale at her art exhibit show to benefit the Sussex County Chapter of MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Decker, nationally renowned Sussex County wildlife artist, naturalist, conservationist, educator, and award winner will exhibit an extensive collection of her work at “Wildlife Weekend X” Nov. 11 to Nov. 14 at Olde Lafayette Village in the Village Meeting Hall, Routes 15 and 94 in Lafayette. This tenth anniversary special art show and sale is sponsored by Wildlife Art Studio in cooperation with Olde Lafayette Village. Decker has also created an original acrylic painting, titled “Art Show Today,” to celebrate 10 years of showing her work at Olde Lafayette Village, which is also celebrating its 20-year anniversary. Hours on Nov. 11 are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
