Local designer to appear on HGTV's ‘Designer's Challenge' Nov. 17

SPARTA - Cathy Dilger of Sparta will have her company, Selective Elements, featured on HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge this month. Designer’s Challenge is a television show featuring three interior designers who compete to win the approval of a homeowner to design and furnish a room in their house. The episode will air at 9:30 p.m. Nov 17 on HGTV. Dilger was part of the group that pulled together the beautiful dining room and foyer that won over the homeowners and also won the “challenge.” Selective Elements has been creating interior finishes in the tri-state area for homes, country clubs and restaurants for 12 years. Some of Dilger’s public work includes the Madison Hotel in Morristown, Perona Farms in Andover, Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell and Newton Country Club in Newton. Selective Elements has been featured in numerous publications, including New Jersey Monthly, Savey Living, Design NJ, The Star Ledger and The Bergen Record.
