"Love as Pure Energy sculpture to be viewed in Newton

A sculpture, "Rehearsal," by Barbara Bird Stewart, and an acrylic and pastel painting, "Love as Pure Energy," by Dorothy Dierks, are among 40 pieces of art on display and for sale through Feb. 28, at an exhibit, titled "Amore," 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays; 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Fridays; and noon-5 p.m., Sundays, at the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council, in Newton.
