Ringwood - New Jersey Audubon and Ranger Rick can help connect your children to nature by exploring, discovering, and enjoying forests, fields, streams, and ponds. The nature camps offered at the Weis Ecology Center for the summer maximize outdoor adventures to foster a deeper connection with the natural world through engaging, fun, and informative activities. Environmental educators are highly trained and there are even additional educator/interns to maintain optimal teacher-child ratios. Here is a list of the day camps offered at Weis Ecology Center. And, if you are busy the week of your camp or just want something additional, there are two new programs in August at Weis this year. For more information or to register, contact the Weis Ecology Center office at 973-835-2160 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, or visit online anytime, www.njaudubon.org/centers/weis.
