New bands coming to township Concerts Under the Stars

West Milford — West Milford Community Services and Recreation is sponsoring the “Concerts Under The Stars” free concert series once again this year. These concerts will be held at the Gazebo in Bubbling Springs Park on Macopin Road in West Milford, beginning at 7:15 p.m. unless otherwise noted. June 17 (Friday special day and time 6:30 to 8:45 p.m.) - Teen Night - Sponsored by Big Mountain Entertainment and C.A.S.A.. High School bands to perform, West Milford’s Bury These Old Ghosts, Ringwood’s Lift the Decade and Glen Rock’s Love Assassin. July 12 (Tuesday) - “The Rockaholics” - Jimmy The Barber’s Rockaholics, a classic rock band playing songs from the 60s through the 80s. This four-piece band is an area staple; their good music and humorous antics make for great family fun. July 19 (Tuesday) - House Calls - This 80s tribute band was cited as one of the top cover bands of northern New Jersey by the Daily Record. This band of five dresses in 80s attire and keeps audiences of all ages entertained from start to finish. A great addition to the West Milford concert series. August 2 (Tuesday) - Morgan Paul and Friends - Donated by Morgan Paul and Friends. Bring the family to enjoy this unique band. Something for all ages. Their “fresh yet familiar” 70s style songs will make it a don’t miss event. August 9 (Tuesday) - Island Beach Party - The party is back, with their tribute to Jimmy Buffet. The always entertaining “Parrot Beach” will take us to our very own island happening right on the beach at Bubbling Springs. So grab your cheeseburger and get ready for paradise.
