SUGAR LOAF, N.Y. - Nick Zungoli, nationally recognized landscape photographer, opened The Exposures Gallery in 1979, and over the past 26 years has developed a loyal following of collectors. Guests at his Sugar Loaf gallery will find his signature work of the Hudson-to-Delaware region on permanent display. Zungoli’s photographs are characterized by simple compositions, profound stillness, and diffused light. His new exhibit, About the Light (new work 2004-2005), will open from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, with a reception and book signing at the gallery, located at 1357 King’s Hwy., Sugar Loaf, N.Y. Zungoli will sign copies of his book, Hudson to Delaware/THE GREAT VALLEY, as well as a newly released 2006 calendar. The calendar features landscapes of Orange County from the book, and was produced by the Orange County Land Trust. All proceeds from sales of the calendar will benefit the trust. About the Light can be viewed through Jan. 20, 2006. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For information, call 845-469-9382, or visit www.exposures.com.
