New location for Shakespeare shows

    Highland Lakes - The Illustrious Theatre Company will present Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale” this summer. The company, best known for its outdoor summer production “Shakespeare in the Orchard,” held in Warwick, N.Y., has moved to Highland Lakes, and will now be known as Shakespeare at the Lake. Show dates are July 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31. Auditions for “The Winter’s Tale” will be held Saturday, May 21 at 1 p.m. at Warwick, N.Y., Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway, Warwick and on Sunday, May 22, at 7 p.m. at the Highland Lakes Club House, 2240 Lakeside Drive West, (off Breakneck Road), Highland Lakes. There are for about 25 roles for men and women and one boy age 9 or 10; all roles open. Audition will consist of reading from the script.
