NJBG sponsors bus trip to Wave Hill
Ringwood The New Jersey Botanical Garden is hosting a garden bus trip to Wave Hill on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011. Participants will enjoy a delightful and beautiful New York garden in the company of other garden enthusiasts. Wave Hill is a spectacular 28-acre public garden and cultural center overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades in the Bronx. Wave Hill's vibrant landscape is one of the most beautiful spots in New York City (www.wavehill.org). The bus will depart from NJBG (the New Jersey State Botanical Garden in Ringwood State Park, Ringwood) at 8:30 a.m. for the trip to Wave Hill. After a greeting and introduction by the director, all will receive a private tour. Lunch is not included, but you can bring your own lunch or sample the delights at the Wave Hill Café. After lunch, enjoy exploring on your own until the bus leaves at 3 p.m. to return to NJBG at 3:45 p.m. The cost is $35 for NJBG members and $40 for non-members, and includes transportation, admission and the tour.
