STANHOPE — New Jersey-born singer-songwriter Laura Warshauer is opening for Bob Schnieder at the Stanhope House on Nov. 20. Warshauer's fall schedule includes a string of high-profile shows, two national TV appearances and an ever-rising single, “Wishing Well” which enjoyed a 13-week chart run that began early this summer. The single is an example of her signature style, which combines her personal and emotional lyrics with sweet pop melodies and a soaring voice. Warshauer was chosen by BMI and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame as the 2010 recipient for the first ever “Holly Award,” given to one gifted singer-songwriter a year. Her sound, style and vocal flavors range from Stevie Nicks to Cyndi Lauper, Kate Bush to Imogen Heap. Her latest album, “The Pink Chariot Mixtape,” was released earlier this summer and was featured in People Magazine and Paris Match and The London Daily Mail as a result of her song, “To Will and Kate, Meet Me at Exit 109.” The song detailed her experiences during college with the future King and Queen of England as she watched their love first blossom. Tickets are $15 per person, show starts at 6 p.m. The Stanhope House is located at 45 Main St. in Stanhope. For more information call 973-347-7777.
