SPARTA-National Honors Society students from Pope John XXIII High School will get a bird's eye view of the business world when they attend the Sparta Chamber Council Expo on May 25. Student ambassadors will greet attendees and distribute floor plan maps of the exhibitors and exhibit area, while seeing, first-hand, how businesses are working to be active in their community. The Sparta Chamber Council, an affiliate of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce, hosts the annual expo which raises scholarship funds for Sparta residents seeking to continue their education in the field of business. This year's event, held at the Lake Mohawk Country Club from 6-8 p.m., offers free admission, free hors d'oeuvres, plentiful parking, gifts, door prizes and more. Newton Memorial Hospital will host an exclusive Exhibitor Reception prior to guest arrival.  Alpine Roofing and Eastern Propane Corp. will supply dessert and coffee for all guests.  Additional sponsors include:  Lake Mohawk Golf Club, Lakeland Bank, PNC Bank, Real Estate Consultants-Sparta, Sowinski Sullivan, Architects, PC, Sparta Athletic Club, SussexBank, The Mortgage Corner, LLC, Valley National Bank, Washington Mutual Home Loans, Wm. H. Wilson Septic Tank Service. These accomplished sponsor businesses will have displays, along with many others who look forward to seeing members of the community.
