Red Hat Society will host tea party

Ogdensburg — The local Red Hat Society will host a Fairy Tea Party and Pot Luck on Saturday, July 9 at the Ogdensburg Firehouse Hall. Women are invited to come out and have an afternoon full of fun with their granddaughters and enjoy some laughs while making new friends. The Vernon Marlo-Mod Hatters Chapter of the Red Hat Society is sponsoring the event. Heidi Robak is the owner of The Happy Dance, where she designs fairy costumes and hosts parties. Visit her Web site at www.thehappydance.com. You can either purchase a fairy costume for your granddaughter or use Heidi’s tutus and wings. The cost for grandmom is $10 plus a pot luck dish to share. The cost for granddaughters (aged 3 to 12) is $15. The girls will have photos taken with grandmom, face painting and crafts.
