Retro-film festival continues with "The Ape"

    BRANCHVILLE-"The Ape," a 1940 black and white cult classic starring Boris Karloff, is showing from July 9 to 11 as part of Little Lost Arts "Retro-Film Festival" at The Ratsch Theater, 6 Broad St. in Branchville. Karloff stars as an eccentric scientist, obsessed with curing paralysis, after his wife and daughter succumb to the disease. When a killer gorilla escapes from the circus, however, his honorable intentions turn to murder and chaos.
