Rock concert at the library

Vernon — The friends of the Library, Dorothy E. Henry Branch, offers area residents a summertime treat: A chance a relive the '60s and '70s with Larry Amato and Acoustic Hippie featuring Tim Carbone on July 17. Organizers of this concert say it’s like spending an evening back at the Filmore West or East, as the musicians perform the music of The Grateful Dead and other groups. The program is suitable for all ages. The concert will be held in the Community Room of the Library on Route 94 in Vernon. Admission is free with a reception to follow.
