Saturday night's event at the PAL building was billed as a "Battle of the Bands," but it was really more of a chance for Vernon Township High School students to gather for an evening listening and dancing to various types of music. "We have four bands playing tonight and they range form rock to punk," said Adam Romano, a senior at Vernon Township High School and organizer of the event. "While it was billed as a battle of the bands it is really about bringing everyone together and broadening people's horizons. Romano is also the drummer and lead singer of the rock band Aiden Freese. The other bands included the heavy metal bands Left to Die and Enemy InFeris and the punk rock band, Color Blind Light.
