Romance author will sign books

SPARTA — On Nov. 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., romance author J.P. Grider will visit Sparta Books to speak with and sign copies of her young adult romance series “The Honor Trilogy.”

Grider writes both contemporary romance and young adult paranormal romance.

Her debut novel, “Unplugged (A Portrait of Rock Star),” was chosen as semi-finalist in the 2011 Textnovel Writing Contest.

She has since moved on to publish three more novels. “Maybe This Life” is a contemporary romance with a touch of historical fiction. The first in her Honor Trilogy, “A Touch of Honor” is her first novel written for young adults. It is a story about empaths — empaths who heal. empaths who kill and empaths who fall in love with the same girl.

The second book in The Honor Trilogy, “A Man of Honor” is Grider’s latest release.

J.P. Grider will have both “A Touch of Honor” and “A Man of Honor” available for purchase at Sparta Books.

A graduate of Seton Hall University, Grider is a resident of northern New Jersey.
