SCCC Art Gallery hosts 'Twisted Logic'

NEWTON — Sussex County Community College is delighted to present ‘Twisted Logic’, an installation of paintings by Macyn Bolt. There will be an Opening Reception for the community on Friday, December 8 from 5:00-7:00 pm in SCCC's Art Gallery. Bolt's exhibit will be on display from Friday, December 8 until Friday, January 12. The suite of works include large and small scale paintings that explore concepts of color fields and architectural shifts within visual perception. His interest in symmetry and mirroring within American abstract painting invites viewers to contemplate and experience the work as they reflect on illusionary space, interaction and visual poetry.
The work of Macyn Bolt is in many corporate and institutional collections, including The Newark Museum, Grand Rapids Art Museum, The Blanton Museum of Art, The Boca Raton Museum of Art, Deutsche Bank, and JPMorgan Chase. Macyn lives and maintains studios in Brooklyn, NY and upstate Pennsylvania.
