Newton —Interested in learning more about the culture of French-speaking Canada? Then claim your spot on the March 2007 trip to Québec City and Montréal being sponsored by Sussex County Community College. The bus will depart from Sussex County Community College on Saturday morning, March 17 and return in the evening of Wednesday, March 21. Participants will enjoy days filled with guided adventures and even have some time to discover the wonders of the cities on their own. There will be something for everyone, including: take a ride up the world’s tallest inclined tower; tour the famous Château Frontenac; take a dog-sled ride through a maple grove; visit some of Canada’s most famous shrines; see a waterfall higher than Niagara; go tubing down the slopes or ride a go-kart on ice; and dine at a trendy French restaurant, in a Huron Indian village and in a traditional lumberjack’s “sugar shack.” The price for the trip will be based upon the number who sign up, and will range from $599 to $669/per person, based upon double or triple lodging occupancy. A supplemental charge will be required for single rooms. The price includes coach bus transportation, hotel accommodations, admission to the activities, breakfast and three dinners. A deposit of $100 is requested by Dec. 20 to reserve your space. Checks made payable to Jumpstreet. Individual cancellation insurance may be purchased when you make your initial deposit. An optional individual medical insurance can be purchased up until two weeks before the start of trip, for an additional $10.
