Springsteen tribute band at Stanhope House
STANHOPE — They've played before presidents and governors, celebrities and at venues throughout the country. They are the original tribute band.
The B Street Band is taking the stage at the iconic Stanhope House in Stanhope on Friday night Feb. 9, to regale Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band fans with favorites from the 70s to present.
The B Street Band was formed in Springsteen's backyard of Asbury Park in May of 1980 by current band member Will Forte. Since then, this entertaining six piece group--known as Backstreets prior to the mid 80's--has earned the respect and reputation of the music industry. With a list of accomplishments that are unparalleled, they remain as one of the most renowned tribute bands around. With an estimated 14,000 tribute bands performing all over the world, B Street is among the first to make it big.
Nearly 5,500 performances and 34 years later, the B Street Band is still the hardest working tribute band on the circuit, with almost 200 shows per year throughout the country.
Dance or sing along, B Street delivers from the first note to the last at every show.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with opening bands starting at 7 p.m.
