St. Moritz hosting local band's CD release party

SPARTA — SteppingSTONE Band is holding a release party for their debut CD "I'll Be Coming Home" on Saturday, June 1 at the St. Moritz Grill & Bar in Sparta from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Singer/Songwriter Ryan Robert Schutz, a lifelong Sparta resident, and the five-member Americana roots band, will be playing their original recordings to local friends and the community.

The first CD release party was held at The Dublin Pub in Morristown where the band played to a standing-room-only crowd.

Much of the audience sang along as more and more people are beginning to recognize SteppingSTONE original songs.

With songs like the CD's title track, "I'll Be Coming Home" and the anthem “Get Back Up Again”, the group could find themselves as New Jersey’s next band that working class folks can rally behind.

Copies of the CD will be available at all events the band plays at or can be purchased iTunes.
