Stanhope House celebrates Johnny Winter

    — The music of the late great Johnny Winter will come back to life when the Johnny Winter All-Star band takes the stage at the iconic Stanhope House on Saturday night Jan. 27.
    Dedicated to the Hall of Fame bluesman from Texas, this band nails it under the leadership of Paul Nelson, who performed with Winter for many years until his death two years ago.
    Keeping the great music alive, the Johnny Winter All-Star Band has been wowing audiences everywhere for the past two years, with fans gathering to celebrate the music and spirit of one of the greatest Blues Guitarists of all time.
    The show features original members from Johnny’s latest band including Johnny’s protege guitarist Grammy award winner, Paul Nelson. Nelson toured the world with Winter and recorded on and produced his last #1 Billboard Blues charting, Grammy and BMA winning Album “Step Back”, as well as performing on the David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel TV broadcasts.
    The line-up also includes Scott Spray on Bass, Bobby T. Torello on Drums, and with special guest vocalists to be announced.
    Doors open at 6 p.m., with opening bands starting at 7 p.m.
