STANHOPE - The Stanhope House is launching a unique live DJ music series featuring two jocks who are familiar with WNTI-FM.
Pete Hoff, whose show, Uncle Pete's Blues Party, was a staple on WNTI for years, and Mike Watterston, whose show Dogbites, was - and still is heard on the Internet - will be hosting a DJ series at the Stanhope House, starting on May 5 with Hoff taking "the stage" Watterston is slated to begin his "jock time" on May 12. The two will alternate Sundays each week, with shows running from 1 to 4 p.m. The format will be typical of a radio show, but before a live audience. The historic Stanhope House is located in Downtown Stanhope, at 45 Main Street.
"It's a new concept," said Hoff. "It'll bring the audience into a show 'live'"
Watterston said, "I think people will get a real kick out of it."
While Hoff's "show" will focus predominately on the blues, Watterston's selections will run the gamut, from rock to folk.
There is no charge to attend. The bar and kitchen will be open for business.
