Carlos Santana fans won’t want to miss Stone Flower this Saturday at Joey’s Casa Italiana. William Rincon, Hugo Santiago, Alex Potrille, Rob Siebert, Edward Taylor and Mark Vaccaro are Stone Flower and together they pay tribute to one of the best in the music business, Santana. This truly percussive, high-energy tribute to the Rock Hall of Famer is not to be missed. “We were inspired to adopt the name Stone Flower, which comes from a song of the same name on Santana’s 'Caravenserai’ album. This album represented a pivotal point in the evolution of Santana’s sound from the Latin Rock/Blues, through the fusion albums, to the high-energy, Afro-Cuban collaborative rock sounds that define Carlos Santana and his band today,” said Rincon. Join them on Saturday, June 18, at 9 p.m. at Joey’s Casa Italiana, 9 Lakeside Road, Hewitt. For information call 973-728-4722.
