Sussex Community College offers real estate pre-license course

    NEWTON - Sussex County Community College has been licensed by the N.J. Real Estate Commission to offer educational programs leading to licensure for people seeking careers in real estate. The real estate pre-licensing course prepares students to take the N.J. state examination to become a licensed N.J. real estate salesperson. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for two weeks. The next session begins Monday, Nov. 28. Upon successful completion of the 75-hour course, students will receive a certificate, which is used to gain admission into the state exam. A high-school diploma or GED is required to obtain licensing by the state. Cost for the course is $259. For information, call 973-300-2287.
