Take me fishing

Hundreds of children and their parents gathered last Saturday at the Sussex County Fairgrounds for the "Take Me Fishing" children's fishing derby sponsored by the N.J. Department of Environmental Protection and Division of Fish and Wildlife. A hatchery tank truck brought a supply of fish and Fish and Wildlife staff set up an aquarium to display the different species that were to be stocked. Children were then invited to help stock the pond before a horn sounded to let the fishing fun begin. (Photos by Eileen Stanbridge)
