"The Zombie" is coming to Little Lost Arts' Community Theate

BRANCHVILLE-Little Lost Arts' Community Theater is getting in the Halloween spirit with a presentation of the campy thriller "The Zombie" at the Ratsch Theater, 6 Broad Street, in Branchville,. In a decaying mansion in the Okefenokee swamps, where voodoo practices are accepted, Doctor Samedi, a former carnival hypnotist, and a crooked sheriff have developed an "unusal" business - turning illegal immigrants, petty criminals, and intruders into "zombies", and leasing them out as farm laborers. When a young television producer and his two girlfriends stumble onto the grisly proceedings, the situation shakes up with thrills, shocks, and a startling climax. Directed by Sheri Flannery-Verrilli, the horror thriller features Dan Homeijer, Bill Bradley, Amanda Erickson, Ben Holmes, Sara Tonnesen, Michael Erickson, Courtney Verrilli, and Kim Pinglora. Evening performances are at 8 on Oct. 22,23,29 and 30. Matinees are scheduled fpr 1 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 31.
