Awards will be presented at a reception on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. that is open to the public. Ross says she enjoys the freedom and opportunity of expression watercolor affords. She's been painting "the beauty of landscapes" for decades. Many of her paintings express the serenity and peaceful tranquility of living in Highland Lakes and Vernon Township.
