Vintage costume jewelry SPARTA — It’s time for the annual vintage costume jewelry sale. Stop by the private banquet room of Homer’s Restaurant on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for sparkling jewels, bold necklaces, big brooches, cocktail rings, broad bracelets and chandelier earrings. There will be a gift counter of special priced holiday jewelry pins available for kids to shop for their teachers and parents. Stocking stuffers A chance to shop for exquisite holiday antiques, collectibles and handmade crafts will take place on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake Mohawk Country Club, in the Mohawk Room, located at The Boardwalk in Sparta. Special vintage items, including silver, home and personal accessories, antique jewelry, Christmas and winter theme figurals, sports memorabilia and toys will be available at the Holiday Stocking Stuffer Show. This year, newly hand-crafted items will also be for sale. Come and connect with many local dealers who will be present. Open to the public - admission is free. Room is handicap accessible.
