West Milford — Author Marianne Fasbender Previty was delighted last week to watch five local actors perform comedic monologues based on her book "The Last Box." It happened at Bald Eagle Commons and the audience loved it. This humorous book follows Previty's all-American family through 24 years of raising kids, family vacations, growing older, and retirement. The author, who is from West Milford, finds the laughs in everyday events, and she had the audience laughing right along with her. The actors include Patricia Baran-McNair, from Oak Ridge, Marie Cannici, Linda Gerdes, Caroline von Glahn all from Ringwood, and Laura Edcius from Butler. The author is scheduled to do a book signing at the West Milford Autumn Lights Festival on Oct. 8, with a rain date of Oct. 9. She will be at the West Milford Library table in the center of town. Books may be purchased at Chilton Memorial Hospital gift shop and at Images Beauty Salon in Butler. It is also available at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.
