Young Performers to open with 'Charlie Brown'

Hackettstown — The Centenary Stage Company’s Young Performers Workshop will present the Summer Festival of Shows running from Aug. 6 to 14 at the David and Carol Lackland Center in Hackettstown. The festival will feature performances of “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown,” “Seussical the Musical,” “Blood Brothers,” “Brighton Beach Memoirs” and the One Act Play Festival. The schedule is as follows: Performances of “Seussical” will be Aug. 5 at 8 p.m., Aug. 6 at 2 p.m., Aug. 7 at 1 p.m., Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. and Aug. 14 at 4 p.m. Performances of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” will be Aug. 6 at 5 p.m., Aug. 7 at 4 p.m., Aug. 12 at 8 p.m., Aug. 13 at 8 p.m., and Aug. 14 at 1 p.m. Performances of “Blood Brothers” will be Aug. 6 at 8 p.m., Aug. 7 at 7 p.m., Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. and Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. Performances of “Brighton Beach Memoirs” will be Aug. 9, 10 and 11 at 7 p.m. The One Act Play Festival will include three one act plays and is free to the public. It will perform Aug. 13 and 14 at 11 a.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children.
