With power outages throughout the area, downed wires, slippery roadways, and icy conditions, Sparta Public Schools and Pope John XXIII have decided to cancel classes for Tuesday, Dec. 3.
At 11 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, there were more than 26,000 outages in Sussex County, and 2,610 outages in Sparta.
