Carito — Lavalley

Tara Carito and Adam Lavalley were married July 1 at Congress Hall in Cape May. The ceremony was officiated by Jerome E. Inderwies, Mayor Emeritus. A reception immediately followed.

The bridal party included maids of honor Lauren Farrell, childhood friend and Julie Poppert, college friend. The bridesmaids were Stacey Hazelton, the groom’s sister, Julie Lanczak, aunt of the bride, Kristen Sanchez, cousin of the bride, cousin Juliet Cunningham was a junior bridesmaid, and flower girls were Emilia Cunningham, cousin of the bride and Madison Ward, niece of the bride.

The best man was Kyle Lavalley, brother of the groom, and the groomsmen were Ben Lavalley, cousin of the groom, Jason Haag, Chris Lafante, Chris Olsen, all childhood friends of the groom.

The couple honeymooned in Maui, and reside in Rockaway.

The bride is the daughter of Eileen Maffei and Robert Gaudette of Sparta and Ralph Carito of Hackettstown. The groom is the son of Richard and Karen Lavalley of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina.

The couple were 2004 graduates of Sparta High School, and 2008 graduates of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Tara received her Master of Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson in 2009. She is a first grade teacher at Green Hills School in Greendell. Adam is a Security Integration Specialist with Anixter in Florham Park.
