Owens and Kovit are married

Nora Kathleen Owens, daughter of Dr. Paul and Mary Owens, and David Eli Kovit, son of Leonard and Anne Kovit, were married July 28 at Perona Farms in Andover.
The Interfaith ceremony was officiated by Father David McDonnell of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Sparta and Rabbi William Kurry of Little Silver.
The bridal party included maid of honor Caitlin Owens, sister of the bride, and the bride's maids were Mia Kheyfetz, the groom's sister, and Shannon Ambrose, Elizabeth Dankner, Beth Gismervik, Elizabeth Navin and Jean White.
The best man was Brian Reaney and the groomsmen were Mark Kheyfetz, Ian Cohen, Joel Bryce, Stephen DuPerre, and the bride's brothers Paul and Murphy Owens.
Eve and Sally Crandall were the ceremony attendants and Rachel Cohen Ralston and CJ Hillenbrand read from scriptures.
The couple took a honeymoon cruise to Alaska stopping in Denali.
Mrs. Kovit was a 2001 graduate of Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta, and received her bachelor of science from Lehigh University in 2005, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008 from Columbia University. She is employed by Group Heath Cooperative of Seattle as a physical therapist.
Mr. Kovit was a graduate of Portland High School in Maine and received his bachelor of science from New York University in 2004. He is the Technical Product Manager of Expedia, Inc. in Bellevue, Wash.
The couple reside in the Seattle suburb of Kirkland, Wash.
