    Laurel Bennis of Sparta was named to Boston University’s School of Management Dean’s List for the spring 2011 semester. Jake A. Martin of Sparta graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Elon University in North Carolina. Jeffrey Gottlieb of Sparta graduated with a bachelor’s degree in drama, summa cum laude, from Tufts University in Medford, Mass. The following area residents were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania: Sparta residents Antonio I. Bacchetta and Stephanie A. Nelson; Stanhope residents Brittany A. Kostman and Daniel A. Rodriguez; Ashley L. Farruggia of Stillwater. L. Henry Kozinski of Sparta, a 2007 graduate of Blair Academy, recently graduated from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a bachelor’s degree. His “Senior Rationale” was “Ontology of Film,” the culmination of a concentration in film and philosophy. Kozinski also named to the dean’s list, graduated as a Founders Day Scholar and was the recipient of the Gallatin Dean’s Award for Graduating Seniors. He is currently finishing post-production on a movie short entitled “The Killers,” a retelling of the Hemingway short story of the same name, which he wrote, produced and directed. His company, Single Dot Filmworks, LLC, created to produce independent films, is currently in production on a presentation film for Sussex County’s Habitat for Humanity. Vilma Rodriguez of Sparta was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester at Fairleigh Dickinson University . Lauren Holdsworth of Sparta was named to Dean’s List at Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y. Emily Somma of Sparta has been named to the dean’s list in the College of Integrated Science and Technology for the spring 2011 semester at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va. Brian Cornish of Sparta has been placed on the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester at the College of Arts and Communication at William Paterson University. He is studying jazz performance. Jaclyn Marques of Sparta was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass.
