Mitchell of Sussex, a senior religion and psychology major at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa., received the Robert S. Davidon Award for Research in Psychology at the college’s annual Spring Awards Banquet on April 28. Rachel A. Mitchener of Franklin has recently become recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at the George Washington University. This is a leadership and honors organization dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunities for community service, personal development and lifelong professional fulfillment. She is a completing her freshman year at George Washington majoring in both English and creative writing.
