    Ciara Zyle and Alya Iris Bello of Sussex Borough, both graduates of Elmood Park High School, have been named to the dean's lists at their colleges. They are the children of Yolanda and Giacomo DeStefano. Alya is currently studying liberal arts at Sussex County Community College under NJ Stars scholarship and was named to the dean's list for the Spring 2011 semester. Ciara is majoring in Family and Child studies in Family Services at Montclair State University. She was named to the dean's list for the spring 2011 semester, and was recently recognized as a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization at MSU. Keith Martin Vella of Sussex earned a bachelor of science degree from Babson College, Wellesley, Mass. The college conferred bachelor of science in business management degrees on 423 students in May 2011. Virginia Ann Buechel of Sparta was among 397 undergraduate students who graduated from Arcadia University in May. Buechel was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in History. While studying at Arcadia, Buechel was awarded The Most Valuable Senior Athlete Award, which is awarded to a senior athlete who has exhibited athletic excellence as well as academic achievement, campus involvement, leadership and sportsmanship. Buechel received the award at Arcadia’s annual Spring Honors Convocation which recognizes students’ academic excellence. Jaclyn McConville has graduated from James Madison University with a BA in political science and a minor in American Studies. She was named to the dean's list for the Spring, 2011 semester, and is currently employed by Carlton Legal Services in Virginia. Jaclyn is a 2007 Sparta High School graduate.
