Vernon. Thomas W. Cannon, son of Catherine and Thomas J. Cannon of Tuckerton, N.J., recently became engaged to Erica McKenzie, daughter of Gail and Michael McKenzie of Vernon, N.J. She said “yes” on July 30, 2020, as they watched the sunrise on her birthday. The couple met at Stockton University, where the future groom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business and is now working as a corrections officer. McKenzie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in both biology and nursing and is currently working as an RN. The happy couple plan to wed in 2022.
