— BW NICE, Sussex Chapter is thrilled to announce its second annual fall fundraiser to benefit the work of BW NICE (Business Women Networking Involving Charity and Education, Inc.) and DASI (Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Intervention). The Red Shoe event was launched eight years ago by the organization in Hunterdon County and is the flagship fundraising event of BW NICE which currently has 12 chapters across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Each chapter hosts its own fundraiser in partnership with its charity partner to help end domestic violence and sexual assault.
The Sussex Chapter has created a totally unique event: Stepping Out for DASI – Red Shoe Sussex featuring live music, local vendors for shopping, a silent auction, honoring of the business woman of the year and the red shoe contest.
The Sussex Chapter's Red Shoe event will be held again this year at the beautiful Lake Mohawk Country Club on October 9, 2018. Doors open at 5:00 PM.
Live Music will be announced in August. Last year’s event raised over $8,000 for DASI and was a complete sell out. Tickets are available now for the October event.
Since the launch of the first Red Shoe™ event in 2011, BW NICE Chapters have raised approximately $70,000 for charity partners. In 2018 the organization overall is expected to raise an additional $50,000 - $150,000.
